About Bob's Breadworks
Bob Ross is the one-man baker at Bob's Breadworks. He preps his bread all week, and every Friday he wakes up at 4am to begin baking. Bob was an apprentice with Gérard - a legendary French master bread baker who ran a famous one-man, wood-fired micro-bakery in the woods of Westford, Vermont. Bob began baking sourdough after the shipwreck of his daughter Callagy. He built the brick oven in his backyard by hand.
Local Ingredients
Bob sources local ingredients as often as possible. Cabot creamery cheese for his cheddar jalapeño, peppers and garlic from local farmers, flour from King Arthur Baking, Vermont Maple Syrup, and more. You can taste the quality of these local flavors.
